About Me - Yongqi Li

I am an undergraduate student at the School of Software, Beihang University, with a strong interest in large language models (LLMs) and AI & Neuroscience. My research focuses on building trustworthy and human-aligned AI systems, especially in cognitive evaluation and educational applications of LLMs. I am especially passionate about applying AI to neuroscience, including the development of computational brain models and the analysis of large-scale connectomics data, with the goal of advancing our understanding of brain organization and function through intelligent modeling and data-driven discovery (see my blogs on neuroscience).

I am currently interning at ModelBest, where I contribute to the development of the MAIC (Massive AI-empowered Courses) system affiliated with Tsinghua University.

I plan to pursue a PhD in Intelligent Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, starting in September 2026, with a specialization in AI for neuroscience.
